Beacon of Peace and Progress

Bodhi Trail Sets the Vision for InterFaith Harmony.

Bodhi is a Sanskrit name meaning "Awakened" or "Enlightenment"

The Buddhist concept of Bodhi is spiritual awakening, when a human attains the best version of yourself and self-consciousness.

Interfaith Harmony

Throughout human history, inter-faith harmony has always been crucial for well-being, peace and progress. Societies characterized by harmony among followers of various religions and faiths witnessed the rapid advance of human welfare. The reverse occurred when inter-faith harmony was disturbed. While recognizing this continuity of human history, it is important to emphasize that contemporary sociopolitical circumstances have been colored by fraught tensions between different religious groups. In an increasingly polarized world, interfaith is the positive reinforcement of relationships among all faiths as a social contract between them and their communities.

Bodhi Trail hopes to draw attention to this interfaith solidarity.
BodhiTrail is a global platform to promote peace and harmony, by evaluating the pervasive impact of faith on policy, economics, and politics of a nation in the 21st century. By bringing together individuals from various faiths, and prioritizing social service for diverse faiths, Bodhi Trail hopes to highlight the most significant aspect of spirituality - acceptance of others as they are, and service of others from a space of altruism and empathy.

By leveraging workshops, podcasts, blogs, religious visits, and conferences, BodhiTrail aims to create bridges where there have been differences, and manifest tangible change in the lives of individuals and groups, beyond the divisive lines of society. We have partnered with NGOs, nation-wide foundations, colleges, schools and local organizations to develop a social service project to reflect promotion of inter-faith harmony.

How It Got Started

My quest and journey started when I understood the essence of Buddhism and my real fascination with the life journey of Buddha. In my growing up years with the friends of my age, peers, seniors going through so much change and disruptions, I came across aggression, anger, loss of compassion, humility, humbleness, huge focus on the outcome.

Recent years have led me to explore all facets of Faith Systems to objectivily translate some learnings in the practical world. We hope to share the same with you all!

Bodhi Connect

Bodhi’s Journal is a blog series in which we, teenagers write about topics that are relevant in these times. We started Bodhi’s Journal as a way to convey our principles and ideas in a platform where they are appreciated and valued. Bodhi’s Journal is more than just a regular blog series, it addresses problems and intends to spread awareness on various topics through a common platform. The Blog has writers from around the country, writing their thoughts and views on one platform.

The aim of Bodhi’s Journal is to help create a community that addresses recent events of current affairs, cosmology, biology, international relations, medical science, climate, education, health care and many more. It allows individuals to address 21st-century thoughts and ideals. It is a platform where discussion on social stigmas and dilemmas takes place to understand different perspectives.
